God uses it for our good

"And we know 

that God causes all things to work together for good 

to those who love God, 

to those we are called according to His purpose."

Romans 8:28

"God takes our success and failure, 

our illness and health,

 and everything else, 

whether good or bad, 

and uses it for our good. 

This puts my illness in a completely different light.

 I had considered it awful then, 

but now I need to change my mind and see it as God does,

 something He would use for my good."
