Embarkation

Embarkation ~ to go aboard a vessel at the beginning of a journey.

Bubba and I didn't get in the family embarkation photo because...

we were lodging in a suite on the ship.

That meant that we were considered to be VIP passengers.

That meant that we got to board via the shortest and fastest line. 

That meant we got herded through very quickly.

Because of all of the above,

we had our picture taken way before the others got through the line.

Therefore we have two embarkation pictures.

BOO HOO!!

I tried all the rest of the week to recreate the initial embarkation photo

 but could never make it happen.

So here we are boarding the ship in two different pics.

That's okay.

We all got on and we all had an absolutely perfect trip

in spite of no embarkation photo of the thirteen of us together.
