it's going to be beautiful tonight

In just a few minutes
the moon will be rising in the east
and I will be sitting in a chair
on the upper deck
to take it all in.

The moon is in perigee...
the point in it's orbit
when it is closest to the earth.
On top of that it is full...
so the sight will be magnificent...
I cannot wait!

This morning at 6:30 I saw it setting
in the western sky out over the marsh.
I saw it rise and I saw it set
and now I am waiting for it to come back again.

God hung it there you know.

who made and sustains

how to take night pictures
with my camera.
