happy labor day

f

Labor Day getaway....
a little trip down to Jacksonville, Florida.
For lunch?
The Cheesecake Factory of course!
In the restaurant there is a rotunda.
In the rotunda there is a big, round table.
I have always wanted to sit at this table.
This time it happened!

So Labor Day signals the end of summer.
Everyone gets a holiday from school
and a day to rest and enjoy.
After then it is back to business.

Watching the first viable hurricane of the season down in south Florida.
Hoping we won't get one this year.
Irma and Matthew were quite enough.
Yes,
this is the time of year for these big guys to appear.

Thankful today that God controls the weather.
Having a thunderstorm now as I write this post.
Always so exciting to hear and watch His power on display.
Thankful also for His care for us.
He always gives us what we need.
I am always amazed at the end of each day that I have so much to thank Him for.
God is good ALL the time!
He is worthy of our praise and thanksgiving.

"May all who have breath praise the Lord."
