Whoa ya'll...these grandkids are growing up so fast.
Gus turns nine today.
We celebrated on Monday because Lucy has a volleyball game tonight and
everyone wants to go watch her play.
Plus,
Monday was Columbus Day.
There was no school.
Seemed like a great day to have a party.
This boy is smart and I think he looks cool in his brand new aviator sunglasses.
He is playing soccer this year and they won big time recently
which made him and all of us super happy.
He is sweet and kind.
He always seeks me out for a hug.
And...he is doing really well this year in third grade.
This year he asked his Grammy for a really large Lego set.
It is the Avengers and it has 838 pieces.
That should keep him busy for a while.
He also got a big box of new clothes which is not the most thrilling
but is absolutely necessary for a growing boy.
Birthdays are huge around here.
We love to celebrate them.
Thank you God for bringing Gus our way.
He is a delight!
Can't imagine life without him!
