We were the snack team.
Cathy, Kaitlyn, Whitney, and Julie.
Every day this past week we rolled our carts out into the breezeway loaded with goodies.
For three hours treats were handed out to hungry campers.
I loved every minute.
From the new friends I made to watching the precious children learn about God,
it was a huge hit.
Yesterday the temp hit 100 degrees in the shade but that didn't stop us.
We persevered and were rewarded with big smiles and thank yous.
God is so very good all the time!

Today the pastors and elders of Hope got plastered with Cool whip.
As you can see, the kids were overjoyed.
Even the littlest guys and girls had a plate full of goody to blast the men with.
What a mess, but it was all very orderly and fun.
I am so glad to have gotten to serve this week.
VBS is exhausting but so very rewarding.
I prayed every day that God would plant seeds of faith deep down in these little hearts.
That these seeds would grow into beautiful souls
full of love for God and His word and others.
Beautiful it is to be about God's work with God's people!!!
