true faith......

is believing
without a doubt that
God
can do what you ask of Him.

The Bible tells us that
"not all men have true faith."
II Thessalonians 3:2

"True faith is not natural to man....
It comes down from heaven.
It is the gift of God."
JC Ryle's
Expository thoughts on the Gospels

My friend,
a like-minded believer,
blessed my heart this morning with her sweet, sweet spirit.
You know,
there is nothing like this kind of fellowship.

We talked about Cornerstone Church
and she asked me about
prayer.
"Are you all meeting together
and praying
specifically for what you need?"
"Are you praying with faith
believing that
God
can meet these specific needs?"

"Yes, dear friend," I answered,
"but not nearly enough."

Thank you for your words of admonition.
Thank you for asking about our church.
Thank you for caring and for praying for us.

Would you pray specifically for Cornerstone Church?
Here is what we need...
People.
People who have true faith.
People who are eager to hear
 God's word
taught verse by verse
to His glory, honor and praise.
People who desire to be built up and equiped
to share Christ
with the lost and dying world.

Yes, we need those kind of people.
