Here we are in 1968.....
best friends ~ dating friends.
College Days....
fun and carefree days,
the best of times.
We all went to the same church.
That made it nice.
Robert Ellis Rushing
went to be with Jesus in the early hours of this morning.....
released finally from the grips of Alzheimer's,
into the arms of his Savior.
Finally free,
in mind and body.
We rejoice for him tonight, but there is sadness as well.
He will be missed by all who knew him.

Blake & Bryson & Brett.....
You all loved him so well.
Your devotion to him and his care when he could not return
anything back to you was such a testimony.
Your unwavering concern for his best interest
is a shining example to all of us
of how to love unselfishly expecting nothing in return.
