a day on the island

We did nothing even coming close to

labor

on this beautiful,

sun-filled holiday.

Off to

 Hilton Head

for a late lunch at

One Hot Mama's.

Delicious bar-b-que...

with a little

Mexican flare.

Outstanding!

Thankfully,

most of the tourists

were exiting as we were arriving.

The island was

quiet & subdued,

just the way I like it.

At Harbortown we

shopped,

ate ice cream,

and let the children

play

on that wonderful play-ground there.

Back in Savannah,

we had missed a strong blow

and

a torrential rainstorm.

"He who heeds the word of God wisely

will find good,

and whoever trusts in the Lord,

happy is he."

Proverbs 16:20

So true is this verse!
