finally bowed their lovely heads.
They are now hanging upside down
in the big window
looking out over the marsh.
Going to sit on the upper deck
and read until it gets too dark to do so any longer.
The breeze feels and smells
like it is coming off of the ocean
and my book is too good to put down.
(World War II historical fiction.....
that era being of great interest to me)
It is over....
All of the gazing ahead to Ethiopia
has come to it's perfect end.
Gus is here with his family to stay.
Erika has arrived safely back in Savannah from Raleigh
and Amanda is back in Lanexa.
Things will start to get back to normal
and that is good.
About our God...
By awesome deeds
You answer us with righteousness,
O God of our salvation,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas;
the one who by His strength established the mountains,
being girded with might;
who stills the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
the tumult of the peoples,
so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth
are in awe of You.
You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
Psalm 65: 5~8
I could write my thoughts forever,
but Scripture says it best.
Only the word of God can change your heart.
