fall is finally in savannah

I put it off as long as I could but I can put it off any longer. Fall has finally come to Savannah.
With lows in the forties and highs in the mid-seventies it is as delightful as can be.
Genesis 1:14 "Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years."
How can anyone deny the existence of God when they look at the order of His creation? I praise Him tonight for the beauty of His handiwork...
the fall flowers
the beautiful changing colors of the leaves on the trees
the brilliant blue sky
the angle and brightness of the sun
the crispness of the air
He, the Lord God who made the Universe, is too awesome for us to comprehend. All we can do is fall down in amazement before Him.
We took a walk just now.....Erika and I with three babies in a wagon. Two spilled out and then there was one left riding.....Harry, who kept wanting to ride standing up. I marvel at the work of God these little ones are. They are sponges for knowledge. They soak up everything they hear and see. What a privilege it is for me to walk through this life with them.
Jake is spending the week with us. Tomorrow we are picking up Lucy and heading for the beach. We will play in the sand and on the playground for hours on end. Warm sand and sun and a heated swimming pool. Should be a nice day.
May your sweet fall days be blessed as well.
God wants us to enjoy these lives that we have in Christ.
By the way, does anyone know when we "fall back?"
Cathy
ps This is a lovely little country church that we passed somewhere in NC. It was tastefully decorated for fall. Bubba stopped so that I could snap a few pics. I have lots of pictures of churches in my home.
You know.....steeples give glory to God as they point toward heaven.
