It wasn't any accident
that we studied the 90th Psalm on Monday.
I turn 63 on Saturday
and this verse came out and grabbed
the attention of this birthday girl.
See if you don't agree with me.....
"The years of our life are seventy,
or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble;
they are soon gone,
and we fly away."
Psalm 90:10
Well there you have it.
God gets pretty specific in His Word
about the fact that our years on this earth
are very brief and full of toil and trouble.
So what did I glean from this verse and the chapter?
Get wisdom!
This is what I want to do with the rest of my life.....
These verses are beautiful and amazing.....
"If you receive My words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
yes if you call out for insight
and raise your voice for understanding,
if you seek it like silver
and search for it as for hidden treasures,
then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding;
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity."
Proverbs 2: 1~7
Please read these verses.....
They tell you how to get wisdom.
I am well (in case you were wondering)
and the sun shone all day today.
cathy
