"the first time ever i saw your face"

Oh everybody....
David and Erika have been with Gus.
They have seen his face for the very first time.
They have held him,
hugged him,
played with him,
and smelled his baby skin.

Here are some of David's comments.....
"Gus is
tiny,
sweet,
happy,
well cared for,
full of personality,
really, really cute,
hard to leave."

My heart is so full right now.
And all of you have been so
interested,
loving,
supportive,
generous....

I think I will throw a big old huge party
so that everyone can come meet Gus when he gets home.

Davids last comment...
"We are up on the roof of the guest house.
The full moon has lit up this city of
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
How in the world
are we ever going to be able to leave him here on Friday?
