she is here

Maude, my new boarder and grandcat, has arrived.

She traveled in a very small cat carrier. The trip was hard on her. I won't go into any details.

She is sniffing everything, trying to determine her territory.

We don't know where her hiding/rest place is yet. I think she is glad of that.

Her litter is upstairs in the bathroom......her food in the laundry room.

She shows a tenative acceptance.

She meows a lot.....she is trying to tell her story.

I think she is beautiful. She hasn't revealed her feelings for me yet.

Erika is sick in the bed. I snuck in here quietly to get off a blog.

She sleeps.....I write. Maybe there'll be more later.
