Saturday.
Nobody here but me all day.
constant rain beating against the front door
blustery ocean with whitecaps galore
clean, sparkling bathrooms
finishing up with the tree
a walk over to the library to get a new book
fresh sheets on the bed
boxing Christmas gifts ready to be wrapped
hanging wreaths and my Merry Christmas sign
eating leftover jumbo shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce
listening to Christmas music
beginning to feel that I'm almost done
thinking about our family and the great food and fellowship that lies ahead.
Now I will watch a movie, Foul Play, and wrap those gifts.
