this bear

Today I had an all day date with Lucy and Harry.
Erika and David went out to lunch and did some Christmas shopping.

I took this bear with me this morning to talk over with Lucy and Harry what we should do with him. I thought it would be nice to donate him to the "Toys for Tots" program here in Savannah.
After explaining that we would be giving to a little boy or girl who may not have much Christmas, Lucy hardily agreed. Harry happily went along for the ride.

Another precious teaching moment. Lots of talk about who would receive this cute bear and that it is more fulfilling to give rather than to receive. In the end we bid him farewell and hoped he would find someone to love him.

It was a good day even when I found Lucy, up on the kitchen counter getting candy that had been hidden in a cupboard. She is quick....very quick, and quite resourceful.

Bubba finished moving all of Aunt Dottie's things out of her apartment today. He got a truck and some men to help him who were extremely happy to receive some new furniture for the holidays.
