the death of joshua

I taught him in Sunday School when we lived up in Fayetteville.
He was a kind and sweet little boy.
He came from a close knit family of six and a loving home.

Yesterday I read on facebook that Joshua had died suddenly.
He was only 19.
He was just completing his first year at UGA.
As in all cases when one dies young there is great sadness.

Joshua was an outdoors man.
His passion was rock climbing.
He died doing that very thing up at Tallulah Gorge, Georgia, on Friday afternoon.

Josh was a strong Christian.
One who wasn't afraid to let others know about how much he loved His Savior.

My heart breaks for his family and friends.
Their peace comes from knowing where he is and Who he is with.

Are you ready to die?
Do you Know the Lord Jesus Christ?
That is all that matters in this tenuous life we live here on this earth.
