about sin

This is the bad news about sin....

"But your iniquities (sins) have made a separation between you and your God,
And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear." Isaiah 59:2

The good news about sin....

"I even I, am the One who wipes out your transgressions (sins) for My own sake;
and I will not remember your sins." Isaiah 43:25

There is a nugget of truth in that last verse that may have been overlooked....

Why does God forgive our sins?

"for My own sake."

To bring glory to Himself!!!

Why were we created?

To glorify (bring glory to God in all that we do).

humbled by the knowledge that He has forgiven my sins in Christ Jesus.....
