hair today gone tomorrow

Lucy's hair was getting super long.
She had grown a great ponytail and some wonderful pigtails.

Lucy had earned the privilege of having some sharp scissors of her own.
She had projects and other activities that required them.

Last night she lost that privilege until she turns five in December.

I haven't seen her since she sheared her locks.
She wouldn't tell me what she had done on the phone.
I will see her tomorrow for an assessment.

One thing for sure, she can't use her glue to put her pretty locks back on.

I can relate to that. My son Daniel did that in 3k during "cut & paste" time. He cut all of his curls off in the front. It was picture day! He said he did it after they took his picture. But, when we got the pictures, it was obvious. It's a great picture that always makes us laugh.

Hi Donna...That is so funny.
Evidently this is a common occurance. What in the world goes through a child's mind that they would up and decide to cut their hair?
