fascinating old picture

This is a picture of the King David Hotel after it was bombed in Jerusalem in 1946.
I took this picture from a blog that I follow....BiblePlaces.com.

This Hotel was bombed by Jewish Terrorists in 1946 and 92 people were killed.
It was quickly rebuilt and no signs of this event exist today.

After reading both of Herman Wouk's riveting World War II novels, my interest was sparked to study the period after the war when Israel was struggling to become a nation.

This period of time was captured in another Wouk noel, The Hope, which I am reading now.

Caught up in the throes of moving.
